  • There is the larger problem for Israel of a full assault on the Palestinians. For one it would turn even more of the world against them. Secondly, there are only 14 million Jews in the world and many of them do not agree with Israeli policies.

  • So two wrongs make a right? Trying to justify one nations policies by pointing out a similar problem in a neighboring state does not really accomplish anything. From a logical standpoint that is called ad hominem tu quoque. From a moral standpoint it is unconscionable.

  • If the Palestinians laid down their weapons today they would be driven into Jordan and Egypt. They have already been beaten and smashed off of their lands over the last 60 years. They were not the ones who started this fight.

  • God is not doing a very good job of looking after his people. Time for him to step up and fulfill the promises he supposedly made in the Bible. So far he has been leaving all of the work to taxpayers, engineers, scientists, and professional warriors. Not much of a god if he cannot keep his promises.

  • Afraid you have the situation sadly reversed. The ancestors of the Palestinians have been on that land for in excess of three thousand years and were displaced in 1948.

  • I drove to Nebraska from my home in Florida and ran Bobby Green out of his house at gun point. Then Bobby has the nerve to come and attempt to take his land back. I tied him up and locked him in the barn...the impertinent, bigot.

  • The word antisemitism has lost all impact. It has been so misused and abused that it has been rendered meaningless. Most of the time it is used as an ad hominem attack and therefore has become synonymous with admitting you are out of valid arguments.

  • This post and the many others from that side of the argument read like a primer and poor decision making. Appeals to popularity, appeals to emotion, and ad hominem attacks actually indicate you do not have rational arguments to bring to the table.
